The purpose of this essay was to choose a work of art and find an image that is within it to compare or contrast with the same image in another work of art not studied in the class. I was to compare and/or contrast how the image stayed the same, changed, reinforced, undermined, extended or altered. Finally, I was to examine what the image represented beyond the work of art.

The purpose of this essay was to write an argumentative essay that defined a concept or idea from a work of my choice. And then I had to explain how the concept was maintained, altered, or undermined in the film based on my definition.
